The sketches from this episode are from one of the few supernatural type scenes in ARIA. They are fantastical, mostly in a wonderful sense, but occasionally with a touch of horror. During these scenes I get the sense that I'm glimpsing the edge between two worlds of Neo Venezia through Akari, the only human in ARIA who seems capable of stumbling across the bridge.
